Former top amateur golfer Sam Robertshawe, from The Army Golf Club in Aldershot, won his first TP Tour event recently at The Berkshire Golf Club, posting an impressive 7 under par 65 on the Red course, in windy conditions. A host of top players took part in the event, and in joint second place were European Challenge Tour winner Jamie Moul, and European Senior Tour professional, Aussie Glenn Joyner with scores of 67, along with current TP Order of ifglobal.org Merit leader Craig Sutherland.

Chigwell Golf Club Monday 8th September

Former European Tour winner Raymond Russell won his second TP Tour event of the season at Chigwell Golf Club in Essex, he had six birdies in a round of 66, despite not having seen the course previously. The Chigwell course, which was designed by Hawtree and JH Taylor opened for play in 1925, a popular venue in the North East London area, the course was presented in superb condition for the event.
