Sammie’s birdie wins title in last-hole thriller

Cornwall’s Sammie Giles holed a 15-foot birdie putt on the last hole to clinch a one-shot win in the English women’s open stroke play championship at St Annes Old Links in Lancashire.

International trio bid for team award

New putter takes Grady to the top of leaderboard

England’s Grady Rogerson bought a new putter this morning on his way to Preston Golf Club to play in the English U14 boys’ open championship for the Reid Trophy – and ended up with a share of the lead.

Brogan and Natasha tame the winds to share lead

Lancashire champion Brogan Townend and Cumbria’s Natasha Slater battled the winds to shoot one-under 71 and share the first round lead in the English women’s open stroke play championship.

New champion picked for Home Internationals team

The new English champion, Joe Dean, and the runner-up, Alfie Plant, are included in England’s team for the Home Internationals at Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim, Ireland, from 12-14 August.
