Brewster bags Faldo Series title at Moortown

Ben Brewster of Bawtry won the Faldo Series England North Championship with a playoff victory over Hexam’s Matty Lamb at Moortown Golf Club in Yorkshire. Faldo Series - Collins conquers record field in Ireland

Ted Collins won the seventh Faldo Series Ireland Championship by four shots after rounds of 70 and 71 at Lough Erne Resort in Northern Ireland. Collins from Dun Laoghaire beat 154 competitors to the title, the largest ever field for the event.

Chesters and birthday boy Evans help Europe lift Bonallack Trophy

Europe’s top amateurs completed their fourth successive victory in the event and their sixth in eight meetings when they beat Asia/Pacific 17½ – 14½ on the final day of the Sir Michael Bonallack Trophy in India.

European Amateur champion Ashley Chesters and fellow international Ryan Evans (Wellingborough, Northamptonshire) have been selected to represent Europe against Asia/Pacific in the Sir Michael Bonallack Trophy at the Karnataka Golf Association course in Bangalore, India on 26th – 28th March.
